Technology Transfer Conference

WELCOME

On behalf of the Organizing Committee it was our pleasure to realize the 6th International Technology Transfer Conference, which was organized in Brdo pri Kranju, Slovenia on the 17 September 2013.

The conference was organized as a joint event with the Innovation day of the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce.

The conference was organized by the Jožef Stefan Institute in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and National Institute of Chemistry.

At the Conference the SPECIAL PRIZE FOR INNOVATIONS FROM PUBLIC RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS was organized. The emphasis of the prize is on presentation of the business propositions in front of the evaluation commission.
 
The commission was constituted from the investors and technology commercialization experts. The commission members evaluated the commercial potential of the presented innovative technologies and selected the prize winners.

THE WINNERS OF THE SPECIAL PRIZE FOR INNOVATIONS FOR ECONOMY ARE:

First team: Dr. Jernej Iskra, Barbara Kapun, Dr. Ingrid Milošev, and Peter Rodič

for their innventive/innovative project entitled

»Corrosion Protection with Hybrid Sol-gel Coating: TMZ Coating – The Most Recent Approach of Protection«

and

second team: Aleksandra Rashkovska and Dr. Roman Trobec

for their innventive/innovative project entitled

»Smart Thermo Terapy«.
