The Innovation day and the 8th International Technology Transfer Conference will tackle the following issues:

  • What are the main issues of Research-Industry collaboration around us today?

  • How to balance the need for financing innovation with opportunities and capacity for co-creation, in a world of open innovation and existing economic situation, nationally, with the new H2020 Instruments and beyond?

  • The importance of strategies (strategic development) as the basis for innovation and competitiveness of SMEs.

THE CONFERENCE PRIZE FOR THE BEST INNOVATIONS 2015

At the Conference the SPECIAL PRIZE FOR INNOVATIONS FROM PUBLIC RESEARCH ORGANIZATIONS was organized. The emphasis of the prize is on presentation of the business propositions in front of the evaluation commission. 
 
The commission is constituted from the investors and the technology commercialization experts. The commission members have evaluated the commercial potential of the presented innovative technologies and selected the prize winners.

AND THE WINNERS ARE...

The first prize of € 1,500 was given to prof. dr. Đani Juričić, dr. Pavle Boškoski, dr. Bojan Musizza, dr. Janko Petrovčič, Bostjan Dolenc and Stanislav Černe, researchers of the Department of Systems and Control at the "Jozef Stefan" Institute for their innovation "ToPHM - Reliable cost Effective condition monitoring, prognostics and health management of rotational machines and drives".
 
The recipients of the second prize in the amount of € 500 were prof. dr. Christoph Gadermaier and Daniele Vella, researchers of the Department of Complex Matter at the "Jozef Stefan" Institute for their invention "Nanomod - The sub-wavelength optical modulator".
