Technology Transfer Conference

OBJECTIVES

The first day of the conference:

Presentation of the TT theory and lines of work with good examples of successful technology transfer in the public research organizations.

Discuss the possibilities for the successfull innovation and research policy making in order to open the public research organizations to the industry.

Workshop sections will provide technology and commercial matchmaking for the regional SME's and research organizations.

Workshop on spin-offing will focus on presentation and selection of the best  innovative projects for the spin-out creation and promoting the spin-out possibilities and good practices in the public research organizations.

 
The second day of the conference:

Presentation of the instruments that support TT today and in the near future.

Presentation of the technology transfer facilitators (TTF's) good practices in Slovenia and Styria.

How to stimulate companies to use the profile of TTF's and increase collaboration with research organizations?

Round tables will open some new perspectives for the successful cooperation between research organizations and industry through contract and collaborative research practice. 

KEY STAKEHOLDERS

The Conference will involve different key stakeholders in the process (Public Research Organizations as a knowledge and Technology Parks as infrastructure providers), agencies, consultants, capital (VC, agencies, angels), SME's, international enterprises, private innovators, etc.


TARGET AUDIENCE AND BENEFITS

The target audience of the conference are researchers, students and post-graduate students with entrepreneural ambitions, established and future entrepreneurs, innovators and also representatives from governmental institutions and policy making organizations.

The special focus of the 4th international TT conference is oriented toward SMEs seeking technological and commercial collaboration with researchers and other SMEs in region with the support of the Enterprise Europe network.
