OBJECTIVES

The first part of the conference Consideration of general mechanisms for TT and marketing of IP. Lecturers of world-renowned institutes such as MIT, CERN, EPFL, University of Kopenhagen, London School of Business, EIF etc. will highlight the importance of technology transfer which should have a special place in each institute.

Objective: The present infrastructure for TT and marketing of IP.

The second part of the conference: The practical use of mechanisms. Innovation for the Economy Workshop on the basis of submitted cases from PROs, Dalogue with Economy with representatives from patent active companies, Establishment of a SI.TT Network, Presentation of the current results of an ongoing SEE project I3E - Promoting Innovation in the Industrial Informatics and Embedded Systems Sectors through Networking (Brief presentation of the I3E project, Strategic Research Agenda, good practices,…), Round Table based on spin-off companies divided into development stages.

Objective: To identify possible opportunities and promote joint TT projects.

CONFERENCE

The Conference will involve different key stakeholders in the process (Public Research Organizations as a knowledge and Technology Parks as infrastructure providers), agencies, consultants, capital (VC, agencies, angels), SME's, international enterprises, private innovators, etc.

At the end of the Conference, the participants will know the basic entrepreneur opportunities for the commercialization of their ideas, will be capable to identify risk factors, know basic methodology for estimating the value of IP. The aim is also to identify obstacles to increase the range of marketing of IP and also to realize the basis for the preparation of regulations in the RTD organizations (patents, spin-offing, etc.).

Objective: To display the entire process from idea to marketing of selected forms of IP - spinoff, licensing, CR, ... on presented cases from PROs (IT, chemistry, materials, physics, etc.)
