The Slovenian company Envit d. o. o. was one of the first to publish a challenge on the INDUSAC platform. As a deep-tech startup in the field of environmental technology and engineering, they are best known for the the multi-patented ReSoil®, a breakthrough remediation technology that enables efficient, fast, cost-effective and on-site removal of toxic metals and metalloids from various soils in a closed, zero-emission, zero-wastewater process. ReSoil® preserves and enhances the soil as a functional natural substrate and is compatible with biological treatments to remove organic contaminants.
Grega E. Voglar, PhD from Envit d. o. o. learned about the INDUSAC platform and its benefits by his contact at the Jožef Stefan Institute in the scope of the Enterprise Europe Network, since this presents cooperation on the international level and addressing company’s challenge in an innovative way. The proposed option to have their business and technology challenges solved with the support by an international team of students in only 4-8 weeks seemed feasible, and in early November 2023, their first challenge was already available.
The students’ and researchers’ main objective was to redesign and redevelop the company’s website to serve as a comprehensive platform to provide key information about Envit’s technology, establish sale channels and enable testing. Team from the Jožef Stefan Institute disseminated information about the challenge and the platform among their contacts in the Enterprise Europe Network and very soon first responses and feedback from students and researchers came.
Results were twofold. Firstly, company continued with publishing new challenges with additional and different activities for redesigning their website, the company’s visual presentation and the ReSoil® technology. Secondly, one of the selected teams learned about the INDUSAC platform through dissemination activities within the Enterprise Europe Network in North Macedonia.

In this team were Angelina Apostoloska, Stefana Spirkoska and Borko Petrevski. During summer of 2024 the team developed an updated website and created a new logo, email signature and introduction letter for the company. Throughout the project, they closely cooperated with Grega E. Voglar, who lead them through the whole process and provided necessary support. Commitment and responsiveness of everyone involved in the co-creation project marked the beginning of a very successul and professional cooperation. After completing their first project, team continued to cooperate with the company in two additional challenges.

During the subsequent projects, they updated the previously designed logo and website according to the company’s feedback, designed folder mockup, created a series of illustrations, marketing banners and a blueprint for content structure and navigation. In the final phase the new website with modern and user-friendly interface was migrated to a new hosting environment, while maintaining its full responsiveness across devices. Website’s refinements included consistent branding, improved performance, enhanced accessibility, properly configured configuration management system (CMS) and implemented search engine optimisation (SEO) best practices.

In almost one year between the start of the first co-creation project and the conclusion of the final one, the cooperation between Angelina, Stefana, Borko and Grega E. proved that dedication, defined objectives and mutual understanding can lead to great results and a fulfilling journey for everyone involved. Students had the opportunity to put their knowledge, skills, innovative ideas and out-of-the-box approach into practice, while the company gained not only a redesigned website and visuals, but also valuable experience in cooperating with young, promising professionals. Additionally, synergized objectives of two European initiatives – Enterprise Europe Network and INDUSAC – lead to a very successful outcome.
