Description: The process for applying nitrogen-doped nanocarbon involves introducing molten polymer and heated substrate into a plasma reactor; providing a dense plasma containing nitrogen in the plasma reactor in the space between the molten polymer and the heated substrate; and allowing the dense nitrogen-containing plasma to interact with the molten polymer and the heated substrate to form a nitrogen-containing nanocarbon film on the heated substrate.
