At the invitation of French partners to participate in the consortium, we successfully joined the international project AI4EU, which was accepted for funding through the H2020 program with the participation of CTT and was handed over to the Department Of Knowledge Technologies along all sources of funding for the JSI. The project with reputable international partners is an important source of networking and additional international involvement for researchers in the field of artificial intelligence at JSI and beyond in Slovenia.

The first funding of technology transfers offices’ activities is instituted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology; the funding was repeated (through the same Ministry or the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology) in the years 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014.

The first Guidelines on the procedure for acquisition of employment related inventions, created in the course of employment at the Jožef Stefan Institute, and on the awards to be paid to the inventors for exploitation of their inventions, are adopted at JSI.
