Industrial forum IRT, 2021
Slovenian company Plamtex INT developed in cooperation with the researchers from the Computer Systems Department and the Department of Intelligent Systems innovative solution for production planning of individualised tools with machine learning. With this solution the company and researchers from the Jožef Stefan Institute participated at the final selection Taras 2021 at the Industrial forum IRT and received recognition. Cooperation between the company and the researchers was established and supported by the Center for Technology Transfer and Innovation.

For a technology “Memory device and method for its operation” inventors Dragan Mihailović, Damjan Svetin, Anže Mraz and Rok Venturini received a Golden medal.

HiPEAC 2018 Technology Transfer Award
The Center for Technology Transfer and Innovation (CTT) has received the HiPEAC Tech Transfer Award from the European Network on High Performance and Embedded Architecture and Compilation, which is the world’s largest hub for researchers and the economy in the field of computer systems. Award. The HiPEAC award, for one of the most successful technology transfers from the research sphere to the economy last year, was received by the center on the basis of an applied project based on technology from the Reactor Physics Department (F8) and the Reactor Infrastructure Center (RIC) at Jožef Stefan Institute. The presented technology was adequately protected with the support of CTT and transferred to commercial use in to two Slovenian companies and a French company and to a major French research and development organization.
