Title: Filament with Oriented Magnetic Particles for 3D Printing of Anisotropic Magnets
Description: The invention relates to a filament for 3D printing of anisotropic polymer-bonded magnets, which contains a polymer binder and magnetically anisotropic particles that are aligned in such a way that the filament is magnetically anisotropic. The subject of the invention is also a method for producing such filaments for 3D printing of anisotropic polymer-bonded magnets, which involves the steps of (i) mixing magnetic particles with a moldable/meltable polymer binder, (ii) exposing the mixture of magnetic particles and soluble polymer binder to a magnetic field, so that the axis of each magnetic particle aligns, and (iii) curing the polymer binder to form the filament.
