The present invention belongs to the field of nanotechnology, more precisely to the field of nanostructures formed by manipulation of individual atoms, molecules, and to manufacturing processes for providing said nanostructures. The invention relates to a method for functionalization of nanostructured films during crystallization, the essence of which is application of external pressure during crystallization of synthesized nanostructured films. The contact pressure ensures modification of the surface of nanostructured films. The method thus comprises two steps:a) synthesis of an immobilized amorphous nanostructured film by any suitable synthesis process, andb) crystallization of the film obtained in step a) at elevated temperatures in the presence of the contact pressure, wherein various chemicals may also be used between the film and means providing the contact pressure. Said chemicals influence the chemical composition of the film obtained after step b). |
